About Me

Background

Where are you from and where are you currently based?

I was born in London England and still live there…for now 😉.

What is your education level?

I have a bachelor’s degree in International Tourism Management.

Personal

What do you like to eat?

I’m not a fussy eater and really enjoy trying new things. I don’t have any official allergies but struggle with gluten sometimes.

Do you have any tattoos or piercings?

I don’t have any tattoos. There was a period of time when I considered getting a little aeroplane tattoo on my arm. I do have 7 piercings though. 5 on my ears, my nose, and my belly button.

How would you describe your personality?

I am an introvert so I actually prefer my own company sometimes. I am also quite shy, but very blunt too so I’ll just “say it how it is” instead of sugar-coating things. I’ve been told that I’m good at giving advice so I tend to be the friend that people come to when they have a problem.

How tall are you?

I am 5″5 (164cm)

Do you have any phobias?

Maybe balloons? They creep me out because they just float around like colourful ghosts. I also hate it when they pop. Most people don’t realise this, but being in a room full of balloons leaves me feeling “on edge”

Travel Talk

How did you come up with the name for your blog?

Erm…It’s a strange one. I used to like leopard print a lot and still do to some extent. So I thought it would be best to combine something I like with where I’m from. I wanted a unique blog name that represents me.

What inspired you to want to travel in the first place?

I think it was a book I read when I was about 10 years old. It was one of those Mary-Kate and Ashley books and the story involved them going on holiday to Hawaii. Ever since then, I have been obsessed with travel and Hawaii still remains on my bucket list.

Is there anywhere you would never travel to?

Yes. There are many countries that would not appeal to me for different reasons. Some for safety, some for their views on equality or human rights, and some that just don’t interest me at all.

Favourite country you’ve visited?

There can never be just one. Montenegro, Thailand, Malta, and Italy all stand out to me.

Which countries are high on your bucket list?

Japan, Taiwan, Tanzania, Colombia, Brazil, New Zealand, and Hawaii (USA)

What is your most embarrassing travel moment?

In the airport in Turkey, I accidentally walked into the men’s toilet. I was lucky that a guy was walking out at the same time and he swiftly stopped me.

Which countries would you consider living in?

It’s very difficult for me to answer this question because experiencing a country as a tourist is different to living there. For example, I love the idea of living in southern Europe, but the job market is not the best in that region.

Do you have any travel-related collections?

Yes! Fridge magnets are my thing. I collect them from every country I visit.
